Kite Invoice - How to Receive Payment for an Invoice (Free Online Invoice Billing Software with Inventory and Accounting)

Business receives payments against invoices. This can be recorded using PAYMENT transaction of INVOICE.


Steps.

  • Select the Invoice for which to receive payment transaction by right click on Invoice, then select the 'Payment' menu from the popup.
  • It will display the list of Payments for that Invoice, click '+' on the top, will bring up the the invoice payment details where you can specify the payment amount, date, payment mode, notes etc..
  • Now you can save the Invoice payment transaction
  • When the payment received partially against the invoice, payment can be recorded and the invoice becomes PARTIALLY_PAID 
  • When the invoice entire payment received then payment is recorded and status becomes PAID.
